Whoever wants to know what’s happening in the algae sector needs to be in Prague this week!
The Algae Europe Conference, gathering scientists, industrialists and decision-makers from all over Europe, kicked off yesterday, setting the stage for fruitful discussions on algae’s potential.
As part of the EABA – European Algae Biomass Association Industrial Committee, Franck Hennequart, Algaia’s Research and Innovation Director, contributed to the organization of the conference. This one-of-a-kind event started with the EU4Algae General Assembly.
Maud Le Gelebart, Algaia’s Services Manager, gave an insightful presentation on how to leverage micro and macro-algae in personal care applications, combining innovation and sustainability.
In addition, Nolwenn Kergosien presented today her PhD work conducted within Algaia to valorise Sargassum species.
A perfect transition to announce that we proudly sponsor the conference with biodegradable pens made partly from Sargassum brown seaweeds, a tangible example of how to valorize this invasive species.
